FAQ
Is my Lottie file uploaded anywhere?
No. Rendering and encoding happen in your browser, so the file never leaves your computer.
Why do GIF edges look jagged on transparent backgrounds?
GIF only supports fully transparent or fully opaque pixels. Set the matte colour to your page background so soft edges blend into it, or export WebP, which keeps real alpha.
GIF or WebP: which should I use?
WebP files are usually much smaller and keep smooth transparency. Use GIF when you need it to work everywhere, including email clients and older apps.
Does it support .lottie (dotLottie) files?
Yes. The first animation inside the .lottie archive is extracted and converted.
